More GHIBLI FANART: [link]

I just finished reading Howl's Moving Castle! It's a really fun story. :) If you've watched the movie, I suggest buying this book!

This, of course, is fanart for the movie. I love the design of the moving castle in the movie and had always wanted to try drawing it.

It is referenced from the original concept art by Miyazaki: [link]

I watched the movie, then buy the book, and then I can't decide which one I love more. THey are so different, each great in their own way.

I agree! I don't really compare them to much because they're so different and wonderful! :D

I seriously tried comparing and found myself loving both too much! I love the howl that is anti-hero and run away from solving problems. But he did it because he knew he could only solve problems that way.... he is really insightful. But on the other hand, Studo Ghibli's Howl is really..... charismatic.

I agreee. The thing I love about the book is that there is so much more character development. :D Howl becomes so much more complex in the book. ^^
